Antoine McCoy

Antoine created Inspiration Education Unlimited to provide encouragement and resources for busy teachers to help them manage time better and create better systems and habits to stay organized and productive, so that they can teach effectively to the various student needs in their classroom.  Most importantly, he wants to support teachers in proactively managing the stress and overwhelm that leads to burnout.

Antoine McCoy is a National Board Certified Teacher.  He has a master's degree in Special Education with 18 years teaching in K-12 classrooms in New York City, Northern Alabama, and Oregon.  Throughout his years in the classroom, he has worked with general education and special education students in both public and private schools, along with homeschool educators and their children.  He currently works as a special education instructional coach/mentor supporting new teachers and early career educators.

So who is “The Real” Antoine McCoy?

Antoine is a Child of God and proud daddy to his beautiful, intelligent, and witty daughter, Olivia.  He enjoys bookstores, the beach, bbq, cheesecake ice cream, dancing, and music.

Antoine grew up in the South Bronx, New York where he attended elementary and junior high school.  A scholarship opened the door to a chance to attend a private, Quaker boarding school in Pennsylvania.  After high school, he continued his studies at Brown University and later earned an advanced degree in education from the Bank Street School of Education.

Besides, mentoring and teaching, Antoine is a writer.  He has been a co-author in few books.  One of the books is So, What Do You Do? Discovering the Genius Next Door with One Simple Question compiled by New York Times Best Selling Author, Joel Comm.

Antoine also appeared as a co-author in another book, Amazing Modern-Day Miracles:  52 true stories to strength your faith compiled by Suzanne Frey.

In addition to writing, Antoine is a Certified Passion Test Facilitator helping adults, teens, and kids discover their top passions so they can begin living a more passionate and fulfilled life now.
